GSHS “Wish List” I. Pre engineering program II. Additional foreign language teacher III. Security cameras for the new wing and smaller monitors in the administrators’ offices IV. A filter pump for our sprinkler system. It’s working but has a lot of iron in the water (similar to the pump purchased by the City of Gulf Shores). V. Books for the library. ( We are currently awaiting the approval of a $5000
request for books made to the Alabama Gulf Coast Education Foundation.
VI. Promethean, e-beams, and smart boards for the classrooms. (As noted, the cost for a Promethean package begins at about $2000 per classroom. This includes the board, the software, the pens, and installation. It is our desire to provide Prometheans to our Math and Science classrooms first in order to boost test scores in those areas. This would include 8 classrooms @ $2,000 each.)
