 Central Office Cuts

I have made my personal mission to save as many jobs at the school level as possible during these difficult times.  Although everyone's job is important, our first priority is our children; and I prefer to make deeper cuts at central office before creating classrooms with 35 children. I have requested from Dr. Hollinger a complete organizational chart from central office listing each and every employee.  I have asked for the following information on each of them: Job responsibilities, salary, status. At my request, this list was sent to each board member for their review, as well. I personally, identified 25 positions equaling over $800,000 in salaries that I felt might be eliminated in order to save 25 jobs in our schools.  I have forwarded my suggestions to each department head and have already gotten a response from several of them.  I will keep you posted on our progress.
